The Rip Chords

Hey, I’m Mallory Burdick.  I am a sophmore here at the University of Illinois.  I’m currently majoring in Biology with a possible minor in Chemistry, Animal Science, or both!  What do I want to do with that degree, you ask?  Your guess is as good as mine!

I come from the exciting town of Mount Prospect in northern Illinois, where I live with my parents, younger brother, Collin, my incredible dog, and my anti-social cat.

When I’m not studying or rehearsing with this fabulous group, I spend my time reading, volunteering for an animal shelter, or hanging out with my amazing friends.  I also love listening to music (particularly singing along in my car) especially musical theater and country music, although I also love Guster, Something Corporate, and John Mayer.

I have a few minor (ok, maybe not so minor) obsessions… I watch Gilmore Girls and Grey’s Anatomy religiously.  I am also obsessed with being online, particularly AIM and now Facebook as well.

I’m so excited to be spending this year with the Rip Chords as part of the Bass section.  I’d also like to thank my family and friends for always supporting me in everything I do.  I wouldn’t be where I am today without you all.
